Arielle is the owner of The Gadsden Studio. Originally from France, she made Pensacola home 30 years ago with her husband and their three wonderful kids. Arielle discovered Pilates later in life and instantly fell in love. Now fully certified through Balanced Body, she’s passionate about helping others feel strong, balanced, and at home in their bodies.

Hannah is a comprehensively certified Balanced Body Pilates instructor and former professional ballet dancer. She discovered Pilates through injury prevention and never looked back. After years of teaching and moving for her husband’s Navy career, she’s now a Pensacola local and mom- sharing her belief that movement is medicine, and a good sweat is required!

Arielle is the heart behind The Gadsden Studio. Born and raised in France, she studied medicine before moving to Pensacola nearly 30 years ago after marrying her husband, a native of the area. Together they’ve raised three wonderful children, who inspire her every day. Arielle discovered Pilates later in life and instantly fell in love with the way it strengthens the body while calming the mind. She completed her full apparatus certification through the Balanced Body program and now brings her passion, expertise, and encouragement to every class. In addition to teaching, Arielle is a professional newborn photographer, capturing life’s most tender moments. Whether in the studio or behind the camera, she loves helping people feel confident, balanced, and joyful in their bodies.

Originally from New Orleans, she danced professionally through her early 20s with the New Orleans Ballet Theatre, where she was also introduced to Pilates to improve technique and prevent injuries. She quickly fell in love with the practice and began training through Balanced Body at a local studio, eventually completing her comprehensive certification while navigating career, then Covid and through starting a family along with several military moves for her husbands career as well. She also spent several years at Ballet Virginia, where she worked closely with the professional company and taught dancers to support their strength and performance. Now living in Pensacola, Hannah shares her passion for movement through challenging classes that emphasize alignment and body awareness. Jessica Wade NCPT is a Master Educator for Balanced Body and Club Pilates. She has been a Pilates Instructor since 2004. She completed her Pilates Instructor Comprehensive Training with Body Evolution in Philadelphia PA with Jessica Sehested of the Kane School of Core Integration in New York City. Jessica then apprenticed with Internationally Acclaimed First Generation Pilates Master Teacher Lolita San Miguel. She holds certifications in many movement modalities and specializes in technique throughout all exercises, especially advanced exercises. Pilates has been a part of Jessica’s life since an early age through her dance training with Olin Kearse, Philadelphia Dance Theatre and Alvin Ailey.

Annabelle is a Balanced Body Comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor with a background in both classical and contemporary methods. Her teaching blends precision, strength, and flow to create balanced, mindful movement experiences for every body. Living with hypermobility, POTS, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, she brings a unique perspective to her instruction — understanding firsthand the importance of stability, control, and adaptability. Her personal journey has shaped the way she works with clients, particularly those navigating chronic pain, fatigue, or joint instability. With years of athletic experience, she enjoys helping others discover how movement can build both strength and resilience from the inside out. Her goal is to empower clients to connect deeply with their bodies, find confidence in their movement, and redefine what strength and balance mean for them — both on and off the mat.

Jeannie is a dedicated Pilates instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience and a strong foundation in education. She holds a degree in education and brings that expertise into every session through clear guidance, thoughtful progressions, and a genuine commitment to helping people learn movement that supports their lives. Jeannie is NPCP Certified and fully certified in Buff Bones®, Balanced Body Barre, and MOTR, integrating these modalities to create dynamic, safe, and empowering workouts for all bodies. Her passion for Pilates shows in the care she gives each client and her belief that mindful movement can improve strength, confidence, and overall well-being. Whether someone is brand new to Pilates or returning to movement after injury, Jeannie meets clients where they are and helps them discover what they are capable of. She loves seeing clients surprise themselves, feel stronger from the inside out, and enjoy the process along the way.

Anna is from Birmingham, Alabama where she acquired her comprehensive pilates certification through Classical Pilates Education in 2023. Anna spent 15 years competing in competitive volleyball through college. Knowing that high-intensity training and heavy weight lifting was not something that would be sustainable through all phases of her life, she began looking into other forms of workouts, which is when she discovered pilates. Pilates is a form of exercise that supports healing and longevity and deepens the mind-body connection. Anna is thrilled to be part of Gadsden Studio and helping clients develop a deeper awareness for how strong their bodies are and what they are capable of doing through all seasons of life.

Loryn Smith

Loryn Smith is a Pensacola native whose passion for Pilates began during her postpartum recovery after the birth of her first child. Seeking relief from chronic back pain, she discovered not only renewed strength but also a deeper connection to her body—a transformation that inspired her to dive deeper into an understanding of Pilates, and eventually helping others feel the benefits of it.
As a comprehensively certified Balanced Body Instructor, Loryn enjoys the challenge of trapeze work, mixing up class with a segment of barre or chair, but holds a deep appreciation for the foundation of mat Pilates. Loryn also hosts outdoor mat classes along the Gulf Coast, from sunrise sessions on the beach to serene courtyard gatherings at Gadsden Studio. Beyond the studio, she finds joy in nature—volunteering with sea turtles, horseback riding, and exploring state parks and springs with her two daughters. She is happy to work with clients of all levels who are ready to focus, breath, and move with intention through each guided exercise.

Brittney has been practicing Pilates for nearly 15 years, beginning her personal journey in Michigan. As a military spouse and mother of two young boys, she values balance, strength, and resilience—principles she brings into every class. She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accounting and is currently completing her comprehensive certification through Balanced Body while teaching as an apprentice instructor. Brittney’s goal is to make Pilates comfortable, safe, and accessible for all, while keeping each session dynamic, engaging, and challenging.

With a Master’s in Biotechnology from Northeastern University and a background researching central nervous system diseases, she brings a deep understanding of how the body and brain change with age. Alexa combines her scientific knowledge with the Balanced Body approach to create classes that emphasize strength, mobility, and body awareness. She believes movement is one of the most effective ways to support longevity, brain health, and emotional well-being. Her teaching focuses on precision, breath, and alignment, helping clients build confidence and feel more connected to their bodies. Whether working with older adults, beginners, or experienced movers, Alexa aims to make Pilates accessible, supportive, and empowering for every individual.

Meet Dr. Tatiana Carolina Grant, a dedicated and passionate Pilates Apprentice and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Florida and New York with a specialization in Neuropsychology. She has a private practice in Pensacola where she provides patient care outside of Pilates. She started her comprehensive training program with Balanced Body, a certification program that is globally recognized for Pilates education. She has always had a passion for movement and wellness, leading her to discover the transformative power of Pilates. She found her love for Pilates after taking group and private classes with knowledgeable instructors that inspired her to advance her practice and being captivated by its focus on core strength, flexibility and mind-body connection.
